Enrolment processes guarantee the identity of the individual whose fingerprint and new digital certificate are burned directly to the Finger Biometric USB Token (or smartcard or standard USB token if preferred) and then encrypted. Secure Identity Management [IDm] and legally enforceable audit is assured because the digital certificate is secured on a device that cannot be copied from. Importantly, where finger biometrics are utilised, the fingerprint never leaves that device.
